Light conveyor belt

Shanghai Jingbang light conveyor belt mainly includes TPU conveyor belt, TPEE conveyor belt, PVC conveyor belt and PE conveyor belt according to coating materials. General light conveyor belt main structure includes: cloth layer, coating and surface pattern structure.

The fabric layer is woven by warp and weft, which is the framework of light conveyor belt. The combination of warp and weft determines the turning radius, lateral stability, elongation strength, noise resistance and burr resistance of cloth. The common materials are polyester, cotton, flax, nylon, aramid and carbon fiber.

The coating material is mainly made of PVC, TPU, PE, TPEE or silicone rubber. The hardness and thickness of materials are mainly determined by practical application.

The surface pattern is mainly determined by the actual application environment.

Polyurethane coating of conveyor belt

Thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (TPU) is a kind of block copolymer which is synthesized by addition polymerization of macromolecular diol (polyester or polyether), diisocyanate (MDI, HDI, PPDI) and small molecular chain extender (diol or diamine). Long chain Polyols (polyether or polyester) in the main chain of TPU mainly control its low temperature performance, solvent resistance and weather resistance, while chain extender and polyisocyanate constitute hard segment, which determines the hardness, heat resistance and mechanical properties of the elastomer. TPU can be synthesized by using polyols, diisocyanates and chain extenders with different types and structures. In addition, the ratio of hard segment to soft segment can be adjusted in a wide range. It can also be endowed with broader properties by means of different additives and different blending modification paths.

The cohesion strength and structural diversity of TPU hard segment determine its following properties

Excellent wear resistance, high tensile strength and elongation;

Oil resistance, low temperature resistance, weather resistance and ozone resistance are outstanding;

The hardness range is wide.


Processing technology of Pu conveyor belt

1: Extrusion calendering process

The raw material of TPU is transparent and granular. After initial drying, it is fed into the extruder according to the fixed formula process to extrude the film. The film is calendered and bonded with the adhesive base cloth, and then the multi-layer composite calendering and embossing process can be carried out to produce the required conveyor belt.

The results show that the process flow is simple and the production efficiency is high; the strength of raw materials is low, the strength of conveyor belt is higher than that of scraping process; the TPU adhesive layer is not easy to produce bubbles, the structure is dense, and the thickness uniformity is high.


2: Scraping and calendering process

The raw material of TPU is in the form of dyeing powder. After drying and dehumidification, it is evenly coated and coated on the adhesive base cloth by scraper. After infrared heating and melting, it is formed by multi roll calendering, followed by multi-layer calendering and embossing process to produce the required conveyor belt.

Raw materials need to be processed for many times, including color matching, grinding and other processes. The strength of raw materials decreases greatly, the adhesive layer is easy to produce bubbles, the thickness control is difficult, and the uniformity is poor.


PE conveyor belt

PE conveyor belt is made of PE material after hot melt plasticization and calendering. Due to its odorless, non-toxic, waxy handle, excellent low temperature resistance, good chemical stability, and resistance to most acid and alkali erosion (not resistant to acids with oxidation properties). It is insoluble in general solvents at room temperature, has low water absorption and excellent electrical insulation.

Processing diversity of PE conveyor belt

PE conveyor belt can adopt thermoplastic joint, the joint is firm, smooth and seamless. Special processing can be done according to customers' requirements, such as edge sealing, edge wrapping, adding guide strip, slotting, drilling, etc.


PVC conveyor belt

PVC is a kind of vinyl polymer, its material is a kind of non crystalline material. Stabilizers, lubricants, auxiliary processing agents, pigments, anti impact agents and other additives are often added to PVC materials in practical use. It has the characteristics of non flammability, high strength, weather resistance and excellent geometric stability. PVC has strong resistance to oxidant, reducing agent and strong acid. However, it can be corroded by concentrated oxidizing acids such as concentrated sulfuric acid and concentrated nitric acid, and is not suitable for contacting with aromatic hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbons.
