According to the scratch situation, there are two ways to repair the conveyor belt scratch, one is to use the repair strip for cold vulcanization repair, the other is to use the rubber vulcanization repair agent. These two methods are suitable for different degrees of damage and scratch, and the appropriate repair method should be selected according to the damage situation.

Conveyor belt repair manufacturers first share the repair method of rubber vulcanization repair agent:

1. Place the belt to be repaired in a horizontal position.

2. Grind the parts of the conveyor belt to be repaired roundly (tungsten steel grinding disc or wire brush is recommended), and clean the polished surface.

3. Mix the two components of the rubber repair agent and knead evenly (about 2 minutes).

4. Brush appropriate amount of rubber repair agent, and then use scraper to smooth. Wait for a few hours, after the surface hardening, you can start to use.

Longitudinal scratch repair of conveyor belt repair strip

Longitudinal scratch is a common maintenance problem of conveyor belt. In serious cases, the whole conveyor belt is scratched. If there is no suitable repair material to strengthen the conveyor belt, the conveyor belt maintenance manufacturer reminds us that the conveyor belt works under the condition of different local tension, which is easy to cause the expansion of injury.

The traditional hot curing repair needs to use a large curing press, which is very inconvenient to operate, high cost and low efficiency. The use of conventional glue after repair, only temporarily useful, can not solve the problem of penetrating damage.
